She leaves behind her three grandchildren, Malek, Jada and Shayden and her siblings in Chatham and London, ON.
Carol was full of life and had an infectious personality. She loved travelling and in particular, the mountains. She was a generous woman who would go out of her way to help you and was completely selfless. We will always remember her for her independence, her sassy attitude, her bright smile and her sharp wit. A piece of us is gone forever. There will never be another woman like her. She was the most amazing Mom.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Deer Lodge Centre who took the most amazing care of her (and us) in the last few days of her life, which were spent with her family listening to her favourite, Kenny Rogers. We hope she is now at peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to The Kidney Foundation of Canada in her name. A memorial will be set up in the upcoming months to celebrate her incredible life.
