MABEL RUTH BELANGER
(nee MCRAE)

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my mom, Mabel Belanger, daughter of Norman and Barbara McRae, on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
She was predeceased by her husband, Georges (JoJo), in 2005.
Mom leaves to mourn her daughter Ginny Belanger; granddaughter Vanessa Davidson (Kyle and Gunnar); grandson John Sobkovich (Teresa, Joshua, Dylan and Mason); brother Brian McRae; sisters, Murial McRae and Dianne Bow; as well as sisters-in-law, Merilda Belanger, Marie Lavallee, Harriette Beaudry, Alice Belanger and Lorraine Belanger; beloved niece Jackie Pearse; and many nieces and nephews.
Mom met Dad when she was 15 at the teen canteen in Selkirk. They married in 1951 and spent 53 wonderful years sharing special events with family, friends, and neighbours. They travelled and made great memories all along the way.
I wish to thank the staff of Red River Place for their loving care.

A Mass will be held at a later date.
