DEBRA ELIZABETH MCCLELLAN
(nee DEMPSEY)
June 24, 1956 - April 14, 2020
I will be missed by my best friend and husband of over 40 years, Archer; stepdaughter, Cherie (Brian); stepgranddaughter, Sabrina (Cody, Bray and Bren); sister-in-law, Roberta; sister, Lynn (Craig); brothers, Dan and Rick; lots of nieces and nephews, and all of our great friends.
I was born in Ottawa June 24, 1956 but raised in Edmonton. I moved to Winnipeg in 1975, where I met and fell in love with Arch the first month.
I tried a few jobs but I really lucked in when Gregg hired me in 1987, which is now Adesa Auctions. I spent over 30 years with the best people. We have the most incredible car dealers in Manitoba and the surrounding area.
Thank you, Gregg Maidment, for all you did for me in making me the success I became. Thank you to my best friend, Anna Caron, for all your love and support, and all you've done for me; you deserve a halo but not yet. And to all the CancerCare Manitoba staff Dr. Dean, your great team; Mare and Nicole, you two are priceless. I wish I could name you all! Dr. Paul Chochinov for your past 20 years of care; I am leaving Arch in your care a little longer.
And now Archer, we were lucky, 44 years of love and happiness! Thank you for all your love and support. You too helped me grow as a woman and helped me succeed. I was always proud to be your wife!
Life is short, be good to each other.
Hugs,
Deb

I worked with Deb for 25 years.. pretty much from the moment I joined Canadian auction group. People come and go from your life however there was something special about Deb that always made you feel like family. It didn’t matter how long the time was in between visits or phone calls, you would pick right up from the last. My relationship with Deb is probably one of my longest in the industry. She cared about partnerships and the success of her dealers, which is hard to find in this day. The Carvista family will miss you Deb, your an amazing person and will see you again one day. I’m sure your making a difference already Somewhere ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Rest my friend. - Posted by: Jeff Heintz (Friend / Business associate ) on: Apr 24, 2020

Arch, we are so sorry for your loss. Deb was so warm, caring and loved by all who had the pleasure of being considered her friend. We all have such wonderful memories from the many years we enjoyed participating in the “June Bugs”, and spending quality time enjoying a beverage at the “lodge”! Deb will be missed by Don and I, and all who knew and loved her. She will remain in our hearts forever. - Posted by: Don & Liv Doran (Friends) on: Apr 19, 2020

It looks like God needed someone whose smile would light up the heavens so He called to you to join Him. It is sad to see you leave so soon our heart goes out to Archer, stay strong old friend. I am not sure we ever said thank you enough for your friendship or all you ever did for our family but know this we did enjoy our friendship and all the happy times. You were a shinning light for all the lost Dealers you helped and that is why we were always drawn to you. Laddy and his family asked me to pass on condolences to your family. - Posted by: don sobering and family (friend) on: Apr 18, 2020

To Arch: So sorry to read of Deb's passing. She was one lovely, cheery lady. I remember all the fun golf tournaments and the summers we shared at the Park. May God hold you close in your time of sorrow. Your love for each other was very apparent. Sincerely, Darlene - Posted by: Darlene Bray-Stefanko (Friend from Brokenhead River Park) on: Apr 18, 2020

So sorry to hear about Debbie's death. So glad you were there for her all these years. Deepest condolences to you and your family. Maybe she will see Gerry up there. Hopefully she is enjoying gold once again. If you feel like talking, please give me a call. I also have some great pics of you and Deb at Shannon's baptism. Would be glad to forward them to you. - Posted by: Myrna Mackey (former friend) on: Apr 18, 2020
