LORNE FRANKLIN ERB
June 10, 1935 - May 3, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Lorne Erb on May 3, 2020, at the age of 84 years, at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and was followed by a private family interment at the Sanford Cemetery. No formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorne's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

  • Extending my deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your dear father Lorne Erb. I'm so very sorry his health failed and so very sorry to see he passed away. Your dad was a loyal donor to the HSC Foundation for 20 years and I had the good fortune to meet him 2 1/2 yrs ago at a donor appreciation event. Our conversation started over his fancy cowboy boots he had purchased while vacationing with his family!! A wonderful spirit with an easy going nature! He will be deeply missed by all!   • I am so sorry to learn of Lorne’s passing. He was a dear friend and it was always a joy to be with him and his dear Marnie. Lorne was so much fun to work with when he played for our Starbuck Moonlighters and Starbuck United Church dinner theatres. His musical contributions, attitude, ideas, and talent provided us with so much enjoyment and many, many wonderful memories. Thank you so much, Lorne.
