• I was Luba’s friend through high school and University of Manitoba. When she introduced us to Bob, I thought that they were perfect for each other. After my bridesmaid duties at their wedding were over, we kept in touch but later years found us separated by distance. However, we tried to keep in touch as we became busy raising families. I will always remember Bob’s smile and how he looked at Luba with complete adoration. Such a gift. Heartfelt sympathy to Luba and family. • Dear Luba, Susan, Greg and family, Peter and Dave, Larissa, I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I didn't realize he was so ill because I had seen him last at Rusalka last fall, jolly as usual, having a good visit with me and others in my trailer. Bob was a good man, engaging in conversations about many topics that interested us both, amiable, and a good friend to me especially at Rusalka Park. He will be missed by many, including myself. My condolences to you all who loved him. Take good care of yourselves, and let me know when there will be a memorial service to honour Bob's long and fruitful life.
