My retired friends and I from Winnipeg Hydro first met Stewart sitting at the next table at the Curtis Hotel watching the entertainment at noon. We struck up a conversation with him as he was very friendly and a joy to talk to. He will be missed. - Posted by: Jeffrey nobisd (Acquaintance ) on: Jun 18, 2020

And He will raise you up on Eagle's Wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of His hand. He will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences go to Denise, he loved you very much. I still can't believe he is gone. - Posted by: Kenneth Montgomery (Stepbrother) on: Jun 10, 2020

I enjoyed working with Stuart in the years just prior to our retirement. He called me "Lucy" - I called him "Ricky" (with the appropriate accent). Good laughs. Exchanging token gifts working together in December, he gave me a pink dinky toy pick-up truck, which read To Lucy - Love Ricky. He knew I wanted a real pink pick-up & couldn't get one. Stuart sure let me know how hard it was to find that pink toy!! It hangs on my tree every year. My condolences to Donece - Stuart truly adored you. - Posted by: Louise Barrette (co-worker) on: May 31, 2020

I worked at the Winnipeg airport in passenger service, and would most often see Stuart leaving Winnipeg to take is flight out, and many an occasion I would meet his flight coming in. Door would open and Stuart would greet you with that wide smile, and a barrage of pleasantries. His passengers thought he was great, and ground crews as well. My sincerest condolences to family, and the folks who were close to him. Peace my friend, and we'll share those jokes again. - Posted by: Claude Nolin (co worker) on: May 31, 2020
