THERESA GAIL KREITZ
(nee VANDALE)
October 6, 1952 - June 17, 2020
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her loving husband Mike, children, Kim (Phil) Raynaud, Jeff (Jen) Kreitz and Kristi (Dean) Chambers; much adored grandchildren, Brendan and Madison Raynaud, Mackenzie and Alex Kreitz, Chloe and Paige Chambers; brothers, Bob and Roger Vandale. Theresa is being welcomed into the arms of her parents, Edouard and Cecile Vandale, and granddaughter Taylor.
Loving, caring and selfless, family was Theresa's greatest source of pride and joy. She spent countless hours tending to the needs of her family and close friends while putting her own needs last. She was an incredible cook, a ruthless card player, and the biggest fan at any of our games, concerts, or recitals. Our successes were her successes, our challenges were her challenges. She will be deeply missed by all.
As per Theresa's wishes, cremation has taken place and a small family service will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Siloam Mission.

We were both so extremely sorry to hear of "Tess" Teresa's passing. We only met about 6 years ago at our winter getaway in P.V. although, it felt like we had known her forever, we used to meet early in the morning for coffee on the balcony and again in the evening to talk about our daily events. It just won't be the same without her from now on. She was the kind of person that welcomed you and always had a great story to tell us about her family. Our deepest condolences to Mike and family. - Posted by: Tim & Claudette (PV Neighbour ) on: Jun 24, 2020

Sincere condolences on the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. I worked with Theresa at the daycare years ago and during the beginning of having my family. Our paths crossed just by chance a few times over the years and she would always fill me in on what her family was up to as well as ask about my growing children. I always enjoyed our conversations and hearing how proud she was of all of you. Keep all the wonderful memories close during these difficult times. - Posted by: Kim Henrickson (Coworker) on: Jun 21, 2020

Please accept our deepest condolences to Mike and family. The passing of Tess will be leaving a large hole in our lives and our hearts, I saw her just over 2 weeks ago and can still picture her sitting in the chair on the front deck. Wayne and I will also have all the fond memories of all the laughs and good times we had in Mexico. Tess loved to talk about her family and how proud she was of you all while partaking in a couple Coronas. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you all in these difficult times ahead. I am so sorry to hear about Theresa. She was an amazing co-worker and friend. She was always ready to help one with advice and support. We went on many walks together during the time spent at Ashworth Daycare, discussing almost anything. When my mom passed away she was the one of the first to just give me a hug and understood that was all that was needed. My condolences to Mike and the family. - Posted by: Julie Jones Howey (Friend) on: Jun 20, 2020

Dear Kim, Kristi, Jeff, and Mr. Mike Kreitz, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your Mom and wife. I will always remember her for the beautiful little lady she was, and the huge fan and supporter she was of everyone. I had the great pleasure of playing softball with Kim (what an arm!) and Mike (big presence on the diamond), played some beer league hockey with Jeff (what a slapshot!), and I chat with Kristi now and then at her work and she is an absolute pleasure to deal with at Sobeys... Mrs. Kreitz raised a wonderful family with you Mike! My most sincere condolences to you all. Hold the memories of her tight and close to you, and she will always be right there by your side. Rest in peace Mrs. Kreitz. - Posted by: Bradley Pisiak (friend of the family) on: Jun 20, 2020

My heart goes out to this family who very quickly became my family at the age of 16. I was blessed to be able to call Tess mom for 30 years. I sat and stared at the box that said relationship and didn’t think twice to put son as my answer .. I could type a book about mom but it doesn’t change anything. I will miss you mom! Thank you for loving me like I was one of your own. Love Christopher (Egg) - Posted by: Christopher Okell ( Egg ) (Son ) on: Jun 20, 2020
