Dear Uncle Henry, Irene, Alvin, Harold, Bonnie, Anita, Randy and all your families. Condolences from me and Teresa and family in Saskatoon on the passing of Aunt Mary. I have good memories of Aunt Mary through the years. I remember eating good food from her kitchen. I remember the fun we had at your home at the Glenlea garage with the coffee shop and grocery store. I remember the fabulous swimming pool and your generosity in sharing it. I remember that Aunt Mary was always smiling, friendly and welcoming. I remember that our parents Dave and Lorraine curled on a team with Uncle Henry and Aunt Mary for several years at the Pembina curling club and how it seemed to be a fun experience for everyone. I pray that you will be strengthened by many good memories of Aunt Mary, her hospitality, her faith. Peace, Tom Warkentin - Posted by: Tom Warkentin (Nephew) on: Jul 04, 2020

I saw Tante Mary's picture in the obits, and a swirl of memory bits from my childhood ran through my mind. I was in awe of her velvet paintings. As often happens, the last times I saw Tante Mary were at funerals, and I enjoyed a chat with her when possible. I am sorry for your loss, and hope you were able to be with her.
