JENNIFER PETERSON
(nee GURMAN)

With her family by her side, Jennifer passed away on July 9, 2020, at the Altona Hospital. Jennifer passed away at the age of 65.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John, of 33 years; daughter, Amber (Graham) Duff, and granddaughter, Hailey Duff, of Morden; daughter, Crystal Peterson (Derek Anseeuw) of Oak Bluff; her mother, Olga Gurman of Arbakka; and siblings, Susan Gurman, Janet (Brian) Nedohin, and Ken (Michele) Gurman; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, John Gurman.
Jennifer grew up on a farm south of Vita, with a love for horses. She often spoke of fond memories working for the Richardson's in Winnipeg, and after marrying John, staying home to raise their daughters. Jennifer was kind, thoughtful, and generous. She volunteered for various community events over the years, and she loved and cared for everyone. Jennifer enjoyed gardening and baking, especially her famous cookies. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Hailey.
A private family service will be held in Dominion City. Burial will take place at the Dominion City Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Altona Community Memorial Health Centre for their care and commitment of Jennifer.
In memory of Jennifer, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roseau Crossing Heritage Park in Dominion City.
