GIUSEPPINA GRANDE
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Francesco Grande in 2000; sisters, Veronica, Giovanna, Quintina; and brother Antonio. She will be sadly missed by her children, Pietro, Angelina and husband Francesco Vaccaro, Maria and husband Antonio Anania; grandchildren, Angie, Pina (Marcello), Frank, Domenic (Ashley), Mario (Candace), Frank (Paige), Christina (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Sofia, Lina, Luca, Angelina, and Franco. She also leaves to mourn her sister Angelina and brother-in-law Francesco Scarpino of Italy, brother-in-law Giuseppe Cosentino of Montreal; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Grandma was born in Amato, Italy on August 24, 1920. She immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her children to join her husband. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always happy to see us. She loved cooking and sewing, keeping in touch with family and friends on the telephone. Cards and letters she wrote to her family and friends will always be treasured.
Grandma was so faithful; we believe it was her faith that got her through hard times. Watching Mass was part of Grandma's daily routine. She was blessed to receive Communion every Sunday.
She will always be remembered
and forever missed.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Frank, Domenic, Mario, Frank, Marcello, and Nathan.
Vi ricordiamo sempre e per
sempre ci mancherai.
Dio che ti benedici.
Sei sempre nel nostro cuore.

Zia Peppina was a very loving, caring and most welcoming person. Our families celebrated Christmases, birthdays and many saint feast days together during our childhood. Throughout the years we could always depend on our Zia to remember by memory any long lost family recipes, even those from our Italian hometown. When any one of us neices and nephews had not called her for a few weeks, she would always take the time to pick up the phone and call us. We will always cherish the memories of those visits and phone calls with Zia. Hopefully our generation with pass on the caring and love our Zia Peppina taught us. Our heartfelt sympathies to our cousins of the Grande families. Herbert and Pierina Marcinkow - Posted by: Pierina Marcinkow (neice) on: Jul 20, 2020
