MARILYN (LYNN) JOYCE PETERS
February 25, 1952 - July 28, 2020
Left to mourn Lynn's passing is her husband Ken; mother Alvina; sons, Dan (Susie) and Jon (Jamie); grandsons, Logan and Alex; as well as many extended family members and friends. Lynn was predeceased by her father Isbrand and her sister Lori.
Lynn was fiercely loyal and protective of her family. She loved us with all her heart. She was an awesome golf companion and so happy when she finally beat Ken after years of trying. Lynn loved her flower gardens, mixing in a few cucumber and tomato plants to make it more interesting. Her cooking and baking skills were exceptional. Oma's cim buns were a must immediately upon arrival for Logan and Alex. Farmer sausage with cottage cheese perogies or kielki, sometimes both at the same time, were also high on the list each visit.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
In accordance with Lynn's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
Flowers are graciously declined.

Very well said obituary. We like her a lot right from the first time we met a few days before Dan and Susie’s wedding here in CB, NL. She was charming, easygoing, and unpretentious. We were at ease together, especially when talking about our families. We still fondly remember our family trip to Maui. We have never tasted her perogi, because Dan and Susie always hid it from us. Only had cinn. buns a few times because Logan and Alex were there first. Lynn will be missed but we will remember her fondly! Our personal regards to all the Peters especially Ken. - Posted by: Judy and Randy Tsang (Friends and inlaws) on: Aug 01, 2020
