DAVID GLEN EVANS
August 27, 1973 August 16, 2020
He is survived by his children, Ryan, Jennifer, Dianna, Shannon; his parents, Janice (Denis) and Glen (Deborah); siblings, Kevin (Rosey), Gloria (Trevor) and their families, Mitch. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Dolores and Clifford Klatt, and Gloria and Walter Evans; auntie Debbie Woods; uncles, Lyle Klatt, Barry and Brian Evans. He will be missed by his aunties, uncles, cousins and all that knew him.
As a young man he loved playing hockey. As a big brother, he would dote over his siblings. He would bring home "gifts" that would include pets such as a hamster or a ferret. When he got his first car he would pick-up his siblings and take them to Hill Side Beach to surprise the grandparents. In his later years, he looked forward to doing commercial fishing with his Grandfather Clifford and enjoyed visiting with his Grandma Gloria. He also like spending time with all his aunties, uncles and cousins and sharing stories.
When he became a father, he said it was the best thing that ever happened in his life. He was really proud of his children. He spoke of them often and how much he missed them.
Although he is no longer with us, his strong spirit will live in our hearts for many years to come.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at Gull Lake Pioneer Cemetery on Stead Road. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
