RONALD GEORGE KERR
Born in Scotland, August 10, 1955; his family arrived in Canada via ship in 1958.
Growing up in East Kildonan, Ron was a frequent patron at the Curtis Hotel, where he first met his future wife Louise Lafreniere.
Ron and Lou eventually married in 2003, and settled in Belair to enjoy their happy place in the forest on Lake Winnipeg.
He worked at CN and later at the RM of Alexander, but his true passion was working on vehicles of all kinds. Ronnie was known to have a project or ten in progress.
Ron was predeceased by parents, Archie and Norah Kerr. He is survived by his wife Louise and her extended family; sisters, Alison Steele (Jim) and Elaine Hayes (Terry) in addition to numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will be fondly missed by good friends Ruggs and Sam, as well as everybody who knew Ron and his unique character. He was a kind-hearted soul who always had time to help a friend. May he rest in peace.
There will be no funeral at this time due to the Covid pandemic.
Condolences may be left on his tribute wall at
