EDITH MABEL ONOFREYCHUK
(nee BRACHMAN)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Edith Onofreychuk on September 8, 2020.
Edith was born on July 3, 1930, in Ardill, SK.
Edith will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Ronald (Linda), Bruce (Pat) and Gregory (Norma); grandchildren, Jodi (Kevin), Bradley (Katie), Kerri (Travis), Cindy (Jayme), Susan (Brian), David and Jeffery; and her great-grandchildren, Sydnee, Dylan, Riley, Brady, Jade, Charlotte and Daphne.
Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ross; parents, Rudolph and Pauline; brothers and sisters, Harold, Herta, Richard, Allan, Gord, Florence and daughter-in-law Katherine (Bruce.)
In 1964, Ross and Edith ventured into their own business, "Beachside Service" in Winnipeg Beach, MB until their retirement in 1986. During their time in business they were well liked and respected by staff, business associates and customers, many of whom would stop by the garage or the house to spend time with them. Edith always spoke fondly of the summer holidays shared with her grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Edith's life will be held at a later time.

  • I would like send out our condolences to the entire Onofreychuk family, Auntie Edith will be missed by my family Gail, Richard and I that knew her and Ally and Ari by the stories that they will hear. I have happy memories of the summers I used to work at the garage. The times that Auntie Edith would always shoot me some spending money and told me to have fun as she hide it from Uncle Ross lol. Plenty of wonderful memories to share. Love you miss you Auntie Edith. - Posted by: Mike Hykawy (Nephew ) on: Sep 15, 2020
