MARIANNE HARVEY
(nee WACHTLER)
She was predeceased by her mother Paula in 2013.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Kevin; children, Jennifer (Drew Singh) and David (Liz); grandchildren, Raya, Kinzey, Maddox and Deacon; her father Endre Wachtler; sister Vera (Steve); her brother in Hungary, Dudi (Hugi); nieces, Amanda (Jamie) and Lexi, as well as her extended family and friends.
Marianne retired from CIBC from many years of service. She enjoyed her winter holiday excursions with family and friends. Mom had recently taken up the sport of fishing and enjoyed telling people about her fishing adventures with Dad and family.
Mom loved spending time with family and friends but especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile. Our Sunday dinners will never be the same.
The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
At the family's request a private burial service took place at the Glen Eden Cemetery.

Marianne was my cousin from Winnipeg. It was always a treat to visit Winnipeg and do things with her and Vera. I remember we Marianne and I had to do dishes, and the part no one liked was drying them. So one time I said I'm washing first and I got stuck washing and drying. She always had a beautiful smile. So thankful Marianne for you being in my life. - Posted by: Imre wachtler (cousin) on: Nov 21, 2020

Our memories with Marianne date back to our high school days at Daniel McIntyre, having our first babies together days apart in 1978. Always smiling and happy, and although we might have lost touch a bit over the years, when we got together it was always like we were just chatting last week, catching up with kids and grandbabies. Our deepest condolences to Kevin and his family..our thoughts and prayers are with you - Posted by: Bruce and Darlene Pinkos (Friends) on: Sep 19, 2020
