BAKER: Patricia Lynne Baker passed away at her home in Newdale, MB, on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Pat was born to Eldon and Ruth McLean, one of a family of 4 children. After spending her early years in the Winnipeg area, the family moved to Brandon. Pat finished her grade 12 at Vincent Massey High School. After school, she worked in a number of places in Brandon including CKX Television and Radio as well as Myers Norris and Penny. In 1970, Pat married Donald Baker and together they had 4 children. In 1977, the family moved to Newdale, MB where they would eventually take over the Marshall-Wells Hardware store, and open Baker’s Service. Pat is predeceased by her mother, Ruth McLean. She is survived by her dear husband of 50 years Don; children, Wayne (Katherine), Terrence (Kelly), Kimberley, and Kristina (Richard); as well as grandchildren, Bailey, Rebecca, Amber, Tyler, Bryson, Madeline, and Brady. She is also survived by her father, Eldon McLean and brothers Kenneth, Robert and Michael and their families. A private family graveside service will be held at the Newdale Cemetery at a later date.
