O’GRADY - Jean Ethel (nee Brandt). June 26, 1926 – December 25, 2008. Jean Ethel O’Grady (nee Brandt) passed away in Calgary on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her brothers, Fred of Brandon, MB and Bill (Diane) of Kamloops, BC as well as her nieces and nephews, Lila (Ron) Paddock, Darlene Brackenreed (Grant Miller), Leslie (Leanne) Brackenreed, Lois (Ralph) Curle, Darryl (Dodie) Brandt, Sylvia Brandt, and Tyson (Lulu) Brandt and close friends Charlotte Raaymakers, Shirley Busch and Bill Andersen. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ethel Brandt, sisters Josephine (Earl) Brackenreed, Betty Brandt, brother James and nephew Foster Brackenreed. Jean will be remembered for her lively sense of humour, her love of travel as well as her beautiful paintings. Arrangements are entrusted to McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes in Calgary, AB and Brockie Donovan Funeral Directors in Brandon, MB.
