SHILOFF: Frederick Dwight Shiloff passed away peacefully at his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 4, 2009 at age 61. Dwight is survived by his father Fred Shiloff, sister Debbie Campbell (Gordon), and brother Todd Shiloff (Laurie) all of Brandon. Also surviving Dwight are his children Amber Shiloff Snyder (Floyd Ormsbee), Tara Shiloff, and Tyler Shiloff all living in Ontario; and Nadia Shiloff-Croteau of Winnipeg. He leaves five grandchildren, Deanna Snyder, Katrina Snyder, Logan Snyder, Dawson Shiloff, and Mya Shiloff. Dwight was predeceased by his mother Betty Shiloff in December 2007. Born on February 4, 1947, Dwight grew up in Brandon. He attended Harrison High School where he met Carole Hogeland, whom he married in 1968. As a Beaver Lumber store manager, Dwight and his family were transferred to Teulon, Manitoba; Nipigon, Ontario; and Trenton, Ontario. Dwight later became a private contractor but after suffering an injury, he was unable to continue working in the trades. Dwight moved to Winnipeg in 1985 where he resided until his passing. A Memorial Service for Dwight will be held at a later date.
