PICKELL: Ruth Margaret (Nana) Pickell of Brandon, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at the age of 87 years. In keeping with Nana’s wish, cremation has taken place with a Service of Remembrance to be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shannon McCarthy, of Central United Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Veteran’s Section of the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nana may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, Palliative Care Services, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com.Complete obituary information to follow.
