WALKER: Vivian Walker passed away at the Melita Personal Care Home on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the age of 87. She is survived by her 3 children: son Bob (Marlene), son David (Joan) and daughter Judith (Rick) McFarlane; grandchildren: Michael (Charlene) Walker, Jane Walker, Kristin McFarlene (Devin); three sisters-in-law: Ruth Townsend, Melba Walker, and Helen Walker Boyd; two brothers-in-law: Jim Walker and Wes Feader. A service to celebrate Vivian’s life will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Victoria United Church, Melita, Manitoba with Reverend Jeri Bjornson officiating. Interment will take place at the Melita Cemetery in the spring. Donations may be given to the Melita Palliative Care Fund Box 459, Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0 or to the Melita & Area Health Committee (make payable to Town of Melita) C/O Town of Melita, Box 364, Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0.
