KOWBEL: Julia Kowbel of Brandon passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Valleyview Care Centre. Prayers will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 - 8th Street, Brandon on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The Divine Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk as Celebrant and Stella Fedeniuk as Cantor. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Julie may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, #1 613 -10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4G6.
