SEDORE: Barbara Jean Sedore was born in Oxbow, Saskatchewan, on November 5, 1916. Barbara later moved to Brandon, Manitoba where she raised her family until moving to Camrose, Alberta in 1994 to be closer to her daughters. Barbara resided in Camrose until her passing on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Barbara (Wally) Ostercamp of Innisfail, Alberta and Cynthia (Ross) Baptist of Camrose, Alberta and foster-daughter Gwen (Milo) Pfander of Tacoma, Washington. She is also survived by her five grandchildren Elizabeth, Ryan, Brenda (Rob), Leigh-Anne (Jacques) and Dustin (Christine); as well as four great-grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her 1st husband Clifford Thompson in 1944 and her 2nd husband Leslie Sedore in 1977. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Camrose Community Church with Pastor Ralph Kassen officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow in Brandon, Manitoba at a later date.
