MOORE: It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, Kirk Dewart Moore in Calgary on January 18, 2009. Kirk was born in Brandon on October 7, 1959. He graduated from Neelin High School and immediately went into the insurance industry in general lines with MPIC. He worked in Brandon, Winnipeg, then back to Brandon before moving to Edmonton and later Calgary, where he was Division Branch Manager with Adjusters Canada. After the sale of Adjusters Canada he became Claims Manager, Western Canada with Chubb Insurance. Kirk was a hard worker and obtained degrees in Environmental Canadian Risk Management, Business Management Diploma, Business Communications Diploma, Canadian Certified Environment Practitioner CCEP. Kirk is survived by his loving wife Tari, sons Chad and Chase, his parents Cam and Barbara Moore, brother Doug (Deb), sister Lynne (Blaine) Mulligan, Garth and Lorna Sampson, Cheryl (Mark) Baynton, and several nieces and nephews and a host of very good friends. Funeral service was held in Calgary on January 22nd. Eulogies given by Lawrence Aimoe, Douglas McNutt and Peter Scott. Memorial donations made be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1608-17 Avenue S.W. Suite 204, Calgary, Alberta, T2T 0E3.
