PETERSON: Helen Peterson (nee Kamarous) passed away peacefully at home with her family on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the age of 83 years, Mary Ann Helen Peterson (nee Kamarous) of Winnipeg, formerly of Cypress River, Manitoba. Helen leaves to mourn her passing her loving children, David (Darlene) Peterson of Winnipeg, Joy (John) McArthur of New Castle, Australia, Leonard (Brenda) Peterson of Winnipeg, Joan (Clarence) Grandbois of Minaki, Ontario, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband Gotthard “Gunner” Peterson in Aug. 2002. A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held in the Friends Funeral Chapel, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating.
