GARDINER: Thelma Gardiner passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Monday, February 9, 2009 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her parents George and Rhoda (Davis) Pickard and her son Terry. Thelma is survived by her husband Ted of Melita; two sons: Dale (Connie) of Lyleton and Kevin (Melba) of Waskada; daughter-in-law Pam of Melita; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Thelma’s life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Victoria United Church, Melita, Manitoba. Interment will take place at the Lyleton Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be given to the Melita Palliative Care Fund, Box 459, Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0 or to the charity of your choice.
