ZAPUCHLAK: Gladys (Jensen) April 21st, 1930 February 9th, 2009. There is a sacredness in tears. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable loss. Gladys children announce the passing of their loving and courageous mother, at age 78, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, following a brief illness. She will be forever and deeply missed by daughter Bonnie Dee, and sons Tommy and Michael. Also mourning her passing are her granddaughter Robyn Dee Court, great-grandson (her Darling Boy), Jacob Court, and numerous special nieces and nephews in Manitoba. Moms entire life was built around her family, children & grandchildren. We will miss her love and thoughtfulness and her gentle spirit that was, many times, concealed by her sassy tongue and independent nature. She had a special place in her heart for all children and animals. Mom was predeceased in 1986 by her husband and the love of her life, Tom. We take comfort that they are together once again. She was also predeceased by her parents, Ruby and K.P. Jensen and brothers Bob and Glenn Jensen. At moms request, there will be no funeral service, and cremation has taken place. Donations may be made in moms honour to the S.P.C.A. or Firefighters Burn Treatment Society.Condolences to the family @ www.evergreenmemorial.com
