COURT: Patricia Ann Court passed away suddenly on February 13, 2009. Pat was born in Brandon, Manitoba on September 4, 1934. She was predeceased by her father Frank George Court, mother Alice Mary Court, sister Betty Haggerty and her brother-in-law Clarence Lacquement. Pat was the youngest of three sisters and is survived by her eldest sister Florence Lacquement and her nieces Sandra Lacquement (Les), Patti Stouffer (Ted), Linda Lauzé (Michel) and many great nephews, nieces and cousins. Pat will also be greatly missed by her close friends Roberta Rupert, Judy Robinson and Pam Battersby whom she has lived with for the past 23 years. Pat also had many friends and staff from Brandon Community Options and COR Enterprises that will miss her. Patricia worked for many years at Camroc and then later at COR. In Pat’s retirement, she enjoyed her time she spent at Seniors for Seniors in her stitch and chat group, knitting with her friends there. Pat always looked forward to going out with her friends for lunch and shopping and always found enjoyment in being crafty and spending time with animals. A special thanks goes out to Pat’s primary care provider Carol Burney and to the Brandon RHA Home Care program, the Brandon Clinic and pharmacy, all the hospital staff and all of Pat’s staff at 561-16th Street. The funeral service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. John Dolloff of St. Mary’s Anglican Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Community Options, 136-11th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 4J4 or to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6.
