PARFITT: Sylvia Parfitt of Shoal Lake, MB passed away at the Shoal Lake – Strathclair Health Centre on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Sylvia is survived by her daughter Donna (Murray) Solomon of Shoal Lake, son Murray (Verla) Parfitt of Shoal Lake, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother Raymond (Sandi) Simpson of Brandon. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Westminster United Church, Shoal Lake with Pastor Elwood Fawcett officiating. Interment will follow in the Shoal Lake Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Shoal Lake Lions Club, North Shore Project, Shoal Lake, Manitoba, ROJ 1ZO Remembrances and condolences may be emailed to raesfs@mts.net Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake are in care of arrangements.
