McCRAE: Scotty McRae of Pierson, passed away at the Gainsborough Health Centre, Gainsborough, Saskatchewan on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 79. A service to celebrate Scotty's life will be held at the Melita Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Barb Alston will officiate with interment to follow at the Pierson Cemetery. Scotty was predeceased by his parents Caven and Margaret (Gillander) McRae; brothers: David and Billy and brother-in-law Murray Lee. He is survived by his wife Margaret of Pierson; 4 children: Jill (Chad) Hicks and children Hayley and Afton all of Killarney, Murray (Tinia) and Madison all of Courtenay, BC., Todd (Patricia) and children Caven and Alexandra all of Portage and Dori (Norman) Caza and children Shane and Cody all of East Selkirk; sister Doreen Lee of Reston; brother Caven (Bud) and (Willa Delle) of Phoenix; two sisters-in-law June (Mike) Kunka of Deloraine and Erma McRae of Watrous, Saskatchewan; also numerous nieces and nephews. Donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society Unit 10 Mezzanine 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2 or to the Melita Presbyterian Church, Box 959, Melita, Manitoba, R0M 1L0.
