McKAY: Gordon Arnold (73). Gordon passed away in a hospital near his home in Appel Valley, California on March 23, 2009 after a short illness. Gordon was born and raised in the Alexander district and moved to California in his early twenties where he resided ever since. He is survived by his wife Connie, son Sean and family, son Bruno and family, and daughter Felesia and family. He is also survived by a sister Doreen and family from Winnipeg and a brother Wilfred and family from Alexander, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Irene, a brother Donald and a sister-in-law Helen. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Gordon’s life will be held on April 29, 2009 in Appel Valley.
