SLON: Marie Slon of Rossburn passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, at the age of 64 years. Marie was predeceased by her husband Harold. She is survived by her children: son Kelly (Darlene) Slon of Rossburn; daughter Francine (Brian) Currie of Rossburn, 2 grandsons: T.J. Duncan and Dylan Slon. Also surviving are numerous brothers and sisters and their families. The funeral service will be held on Wedneday, April 8, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Rev. Darren Kawiuk will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Rossburn Foundation, PO Box 70, Rossburn, Manitoba R0J 1V0.
