HUNTER: Hubert Hunter of Shoal Lake passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at the Morley House Personal Care Home, Shoal Lake, at the age of 91 years. Hubert is survived by his children: Brenda Chachula of Brandon; Jack (Gloria) Hunter of Elphinstone; Carman (Joan) Hunter of Stony Mountain; and Grant Hunter of Creighton, Saskatchewan, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Clayton Hunter of Shoal Lake, Delbert Hunter of Edmonton, Alberta; three sisters: Isobel Trew of Vancouver, British Columbia, Gwen (Verlen) Olsen of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Vonda McIntyre of Carstairs, Alberta. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Calvary Gospel Church, Elphinstone with Rev. Nathanial Picklyk officiating. Interment will follow in The Bend Cemetery, Strathclair.
