SCHOFIELD: Sergeant Shane Anthony Schofield of Wawanesa, beloved husband of Rene, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2009 at the age of 28 years. The Funeral Service will be held at the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Beth Rutherford officiating. It has been requested that all attendees arrive by 1:30 p.m. for Military Rites. Interment will take place at Oakridge Memory Gardens in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Donations in memory of Shane may be made to “Rene Schofield in Trust of Teegan and Layne Education Fund,” c/o RBC Royal Bank, Box 146, Wawanesa, Manitoba, R0K 2G0.
