KUFLOWSKI: Ludwig (Lou, Louie) Kuflowski. On April 24th, 2009 at Health Sciences Centre, Lou passed away peacefully after a short illness at the age of 90 years old. He will be remembered fondly by his wife Ann; brother Eddie; grandchildren Melanie Zarrillo (Cameron) and Dean Zarrillo; as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Magdalena and Nicholas Kuflowski; his “pride and joy”, daughter Lois Karen; and many siblings and their spouses. Lou grew up in Brandon, Manitoba and relocated to Winnipeg in the 1940’s. It is here that he met his wife, Ann, and they married on August 9, 1947. He worked for CNR as a Baggage Master for approximately 35 years and proudly took on the role of Union Chairman until his retirement at the age of 65. Lou will be remembered as a thoughtful and kind man. Memorial services (viewing and gathering) has taken place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Rest in Peace, Dear brother
