PRESTON: It is with deep sadness in our hearts we announce the sudden passing of beloved husband and father, Robert Erl Preston of Kemnay, Manitoba. Bob passed away suddenly Tuesday morning August 25, 2009 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born November 26, 1950 to late Erl and Shirley Preston. Bob was raised in Brandon later moving to Kemnay. In 1970 he married Janice Wilson of Dauphin. Bob and Jan spent most of their years in Kemnay, raising their children Erl James (Kirby Sararas) and Marie Ann (Ed Young). Bob worked most of his life driving truck, highway driving or construction. He was a man of many talents and trades. Bob was the type of man that would give you the last shirt off his back if he knew it would help that other person out. He was a very family oriented man and loved to help us all out where and when he could. He was respected and loved dearly by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his wife Janice Preston; son Erl Preston (Kirby Sararas); daughter Marie Ann (Ed Young) and Colton Young; brother Bruce Preston (Bev); sister Edna Davies (Larry Lanthier); brother Larry Preston; sister Joyce Preston; brother Ken Massina (Joan); nieces, Kerrie Gibbs (Al, Lyndsi, Abigaele, AJ and Cody); Stacey Hutton (Chuck, Charleigh); Tanya Tanchak (Allan, son Branden); Tracy Snyder (son, Preston); Tanya Askew (Marshall, Taylor and Teyanna); and nephew Kurtiss Massina (Kerrie, Ryley, Keyen).
