BARR: Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the age of 96 years, George Edward Barr, of Glenboro Manitoba. George leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Rona (nee Jones), son Don (Ruth) Barr of Glenboro, daughters Betty (Cap) Cowan of Stouffville, Ontario, Carole (Wayne) Withers of Carman, Manitoba, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; a sister Margaret Heidman of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George was predeceased by an infant daughter Marilyn, his sisters Mary (Ron) Wells, Pat Barr, brothers Will (Marion), John (Ena) and Alonzas, and by a brother- in-law Barney Heidman. A Celebration of George’s life will be held on Saturday May 30, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, with Helen Delorme officiating. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery.
