ANDRUSYK: Emilie Andrusyk (Krystanowska) of Brandon, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on May 16, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband Michael. They came to Canada from the Ukraine in 1948, and settled in Brandon in 1950. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. She will be missed by son Steve and daughter-in-law Doris. Grandchildren Emily (Randy), Donna (Frank), Karen, Tina (Salvador) and Ashley. Great grandchildren Randy, Kettrina, Matthew, Steven, Stephanie, Trenton, Sabrina, Salvador and Emily. Great great grandchild Rose. Funeral services were held on May 20, 2009 at the Brockie Donovan Chapel and she was laid to rest at Brandon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Schonberger, Frank Scarpino, Salvador Tavares, Matthew Schonberger, Steven Andrusyk and Ken Wilson. We wish to thank the staff on the 3rd floor at Fairview Nursing Home for the caring and compassionate way they looked after her.
