WINTLE: Edna Marjorie Wintle (nee Speers) beloved wife of the late Fred Wintle passed away at the Deloraine Hospital , Friday, May 15, at the age of 79 years. Edna was born at Griswold, MB August 17, 1929. She attended school in Griswold and OakLake and attended Normal School in Winnipeg, She taught school at Hazledean, Bidford, Grove, Marsden, and Deloraine Schools. She married Fred Wintle July 25, 1952. Fred passed away December 13, 1995. Edna was predeceased by her husband Fred, her parents Les and Florence Speers, parents in law George and Bridget Wintle, brother Archie Speers and son in law Clayton Hobbs. Edna will be sadly missed and fondly remembered with love by her 5 children and their families. Alan Wintle (Laura); Arlene Patterson (Sid); Patty Billiaert (Randy); Peggy Hobbs (Dwayne Murray); Doreen Vanhove (Don). A private family service for Edna was held in St. Andrews Anglican Church in Deloraine, on Monday May 18, 09 with Rev Mark Murray officiating. Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts, good wishes and thoughtful expressions of sympathy at this time.
