RINN: John Milton Rinn passed away on June 3, 2009 at the Dinsdale Personal Care Home, at the age of 84 years. Milton was born on March 9, 1925, son of Les and Myrrha Rinn of Snowflake, Manitoba. Milton worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway beginning in 1946 where he was a foreman. He then worked for Canada Post as a mail truck driver until 1972, when he returned to C.P. Rail. Milton worked with C.P. Rail until his retirement. He married Bernice Gower and they raised two children, Joyce and Weldon. Milton enjoyed playing guitar and singing old time songs. He also enjoyed gardening and watching baseball and hockey games. Milton was predeceased by his mother, Myrrha and father, Les, by his sister, Muriel and by two brothers, Orval and Vernon and a sister-in-law, Isobel. He is survived by: his children, Joyce and Weldon, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves brothers, Neil of Brandon, George (Elaine) of Winnipeg and a sister, Doreen (John) Anderson of Manitou. He also leaves two sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Rinn and Madge Rinn of Calgary. There are numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his partner, Carol Szoradi. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Milton will be buried at the St. Mary's Cemetery, Kalieda, Manitoba beside his father.Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
