WILL: Earl Will passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, the morning of May 24, 2009. Earl leaves his wife of fifty-two years, Sharon Victoria (Lucas) and will also be dearly missed by his five children and their families: son, Lloyd (Gail) and grandsons, Jared and Justin; daughter, Heather (Ken) and grandson, Shawn and step grandson, Kelly; son, Kevin (Norma) and grandchildren, Colby (Christina) and great grandson, Aiden, Kaleigh and Chaz; daughter, Dianna, (Dean) and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison Lane, William and Sydney; son, Bradley (Cathy) and grandchildren, Breanna and Isaiah. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Jane Anne and his brother, Douglas. He leaves to mourn his brother, Charles (Alys) of Carroll, sister, Bessie of Calgary, brother, Reg (Marjorie) of Elkhorn, sister, Martha and companion, Clark of Brandon. Earl was born in Elkhorn, Manitoba March 6, 1934. Following his schooling, Earl was employed by Manitoba Hydro. After numerous opportunities throughout the province, Earl was promoted to Western Region Construction Superintendent in Brandon, Manitoba. Earl and Sharon felt it was important to raise their family in a rural setting so, along with his transfer to Brandon, they settled in Carroll, Manitoba in 1969. Carroll has been home for the family for the last forty years. The family thank Dr. Cram and the nursing staff of the Souris Hospital for their kind compassionate care. We also thank Dr. Sonny Dhalla and the staff of the Brandon Surgical Suite, GI Unit and 300 Surgical for their continuous support of dad. The family express their gratitude for the support and friendship shown to us through this difficult time.
