TAYLOR: Gordon Garth 1942 - 2009. Gordon was born on June 6th, 1942 in Brandon, Manitoba and passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 21st, 2009 while working in his shop. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Suzanne, of 22 years: one son, Sean, of Calgary, Alberta; one daughter, Bretta (Mark) Lawton of North Vancouver: one granddaughter, Alyssa McCutcheon of Vancouver: one sister, Karen Taylor of Brandon, Manitoba; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law; nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home followed by a reception in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room. In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Gordon may do so to the Upper Room Mission, 3403-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C., V1T 1S2.
