SORENSEN: It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Della Layne Sorensen. Della lost he battle with cnacer July 2, 2009. with her family by her side, and a song in her heart. Della is survived by her loving mother, Irene Irving (Earl), sister, Sandi Mitchell (Patrick), brother Mel (Steph) and her three sons, and their families, Kent (Katia , Zachary), Kurt, and Keith (Jen, Heaven, Eden and Cody,), Along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Christian assembly, 2 Dolomite avenue, stonewall, Manitoba. The family wishes to thank the nurses in Palliative Care BRHC and Dr. Czaykowski of Cancer Care Winnipeg and her extended family at Princess Auto, whose love and support meant the world to her. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Della's name can be made to The children’s Wish Foundation.
