LERNOWICZ: Bernard Joseph Lernowicz, beloved husband of Rose, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the age of 81 years. In keeping with Bernie’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium on Friday, July 10, 2009. Rev. Joanne Biggs of the Brandon Regional Health Centre will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bernie may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 727B-10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 4G7 or to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, “ Western Manitoba Cancer Care Project,” 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
