PURDY:Dorothy Jean Purdy (nee Strickland), beloved wife of the late Smith Purdy and mother of Neil (April) and the late Wayne Purdy; passed away at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, Ontario, on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 84 years of age. A service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, MB at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in the Hamiota Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Christ Church United, 1700 Mazo Cres., Mississauga, Ontario, L5J 1Y8. Campbell Funeral Home, Hamiota in care of arrangements.
