MOYER: Gloria Angel Moyer of Brandon, Manitoba passed away peacefully Sunday, July 19th 2009 at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon at the age of 73 years. She met her first husband, Edward Kopacz (predeceased) and had six children there before meeting her current husband Robert Moyer. Angel and Robert moved to Manitoba in the early 70s had three children while briefly living in Onanole before moving to their acreage south of Brandon. Angels one and only profession in her life was raising and loving children; whether it was her own or the one the many others that she cared so deeply for over the years. She loved them all and treated them as her own. She had the ability to brighten up a room by merely walking into it and always saw the best in everybody and made the best out of every situation. In 1986 Angel was diagnosed with throat cancer. She never asked why me, but simply battled through the operation and treatments to beat and survive it. This left Angel to speak with an electrical device, which is what people came to know her for. In June of 2005, Angel suffered a severe stroke and was hospitalized. Even faced with this, she never was without a smile on her face and still made the best of her situation. She is predeceased by her daughters Melody Moyer and Shelley Kopacz, her parents Paul Triolet and Mertle Rouchloau, as well as her sister Dolly Trealout.Angel is survived by her husband Robert Moyer, her four sons Eddie Kopacz, Scott Kopacz, Jeff (Darlene) Kopacz, and Marty (Kim) Moyer and her three daughters Paula (Brain) Pare, Kim (Don) Brown, and Melinda (Stacey) Despins and seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
