WASYLYK: Walter Eugene Wasylyk, February 27, 1950 - July 19, 2009. Wall, as he was known to his friends and family was born in Grandview, Manitoba and raised in Swan River, Manitoba, where he was also educated. He loved the outdoors and his working habits proved this. He worked on a cattle ranch in Alberta and finally Roy Leitch Livestock in Regina. He enjoyed every day as long as it included wide open spaces. He lived life to the fullest and constantly reminded us how precious life really was. Wally passed away in his home as he lay sleeping. He leaves to mourn: Daughter April Wasylyk, brothers, Steve Wasylyk, Peter (Peteskie) Wasylyk, sisters, Shirley Slugoski, Marie Fourre, Natalie Wasylyk, and Adeline Jones. Also many nieces, nephews and friends. Wally’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August, 1, 2009 at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Brandon, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, all donations may go the Canadian Cancer Society.
