SIMMERSON: R. George Simmerson of Strathclair, Manitoba, beloved husband of Evelyn, passed away at the age of 81, at the Morley House Personal Care Home in Shoal Lake on August 18, 2009. A graveside service will be held at Strathclair Municipal Cemetery on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Crouch officiating. Following the service a reception will be held at the Strathclair Community Centre. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Morley House Personal Care Home or to the Strathclair Community Centre. Complete obituary to follow.
