BEAMISH: Alexander Douglas (Doug) Beamish; beloved husband of the late Veva Beamish; dear friend of Gwen Douglas; father of Ralph (Lynne), Edgar (Lynnette), Harold (Barb), Colleen Lief; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba, on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 88 years of age. A graveside service for friends and family will be held at the Hamiota Cemetery, Hamiota, Manitoba, on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception following in Chumah Hall, Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, Manitoba. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Doug’s memory to the Hamiota District Health Centre Foundation, Box 671, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0 or to a charity of one’s choice.
