VROOMAN: Janice Lynne Vrooman (nee Campbell). On Friday, September 11, 2009, Janice Lynn Vrooman (Campbell) passed away in her sleep after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her husband, Dean Vrooman and her two wonderful boys, Brett and Connor. As well as her mother Malo Campbell (Durham), brother James Campbell, and his wife Corinne and their daughter Jenna. From the Vrooman family, her mother-in-law Peggy Vrooman, sister-in-law Terry and Bill, brother-in -law Kevin and Cathy, sister-in-law Patti and Robert, sister-in-law Brenda and Maurice, sister-in-law Cathy and Brian, sister-in- law Shelley and David, and their families. Janice will also be fondly remembered by her relatives and many friends; her passing leaves a very large void in our lives. Janice was born in Winnipeg on November 1, 1956 and grew up in Fort Garry. She attended elementary school at Crane, junior high at Viscount Alexander, high school at Vincent Massey Collegiate and then took a Clerk Typist at Red River College. After graduating Red River College, Janice worked for Great West Life Assurance and the Hutchings Company. Janice lived most of her life in Winnipeg before moving to Belmont Manitoba after she married Dean on June 30th, 1990. Brett was born July 6th, 1992 and Connor was born March 18th, 1994. Along with being the proud wife of a farmer, Janice worked at Family Services and Housing for the Province of Manitoba in Killarney. Janice was very proud of her boys, both who are exceptional athletes with hockey being their main passion. Janice and Dean spent many years driving from town to town; hockey rinks to hockey rink, watching their young sons play hockey. Janice was predeceased by her father, James Orville Campbell on February 19th, 1994, and her father-in-law Clare Vrooman on June 22, 2001. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16th 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Belmont Community Community Hall with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that worked with Janice while she battled with cancer. As well thank you to family, friends and the community for the support the family has received. This means so much during our time of grief.
