CORY: Passed away at the Wawanesa Personal Care Home on Friday October 2, 2009 at the age of 91 years, Joseph Lyall Cory of Wawanesa, formerly of Carberry and Nesbitt, Manitoba. Lyall leaves to mourn his passing his son Norman (Marlene) Cory of Nesbitt, daughter Eleanor (Ed) Johansen of Bienfiat Sask., grandchildren Cory, Lisa, Brett, and Alexa; brothers Don of Wawanesa, Jim of Brandon, Keith (June) of Winnipeg, Colin (Merle) of Vancouver, Henry (Lucy) of Wawanesa and by a sister Helen Elliott of Wawanesa. Lyall was predeceased by his wife Frances (nee McFarlane) in 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Carberry United Church with Rev. Peggy Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Carberry Plains Cemetery.
